Octobre… le mois des belles couleurs, du temps frais et des friandises! Le mois où les frimousses font la réserve de friandises pour l’hiver.

M. Bou regardait par la fenêtre, le champ que cultivait la famille LeBoeuf.  Les arbres étaient habillés de magnifiques couleurs.  Et un cerf-volant flottait tout en haut d’un arbre. 
Bou se dit « les boubous ont perdu leur cerf-volant » 
M. Bou se tourna et demanda : « Qui a laissé son cerf-volant dehors hier soir? »
Nous n’avons pas de cerf-volant papa répondit Henri.
Allons voir … vite les boubous. 

Les Bou partirent en courant vers le champ… en arrivant sous l’arbre, ils entendirent :
« Ohhh comme je suis heureux de vous voir… j’ai besoin d’aide » …

Les boubous et M. Bou reculèrent de stupéfaction… un drap qui parle !!!
« N’ayez pas peur… je suis un gentil fantôme du pays d’Halloween et j’ai été emporté par une bourrasque et me suis retrouvé chez vous! » 
« Vite, allons chercher la famille Aigle pour venir descendre notre ami… »

M. Aigle réussit à descendre le nouvel ami.
« Merci, mes amis… Mon nom est Boo Boo! »
« Tu te nommes Boo Boo?  Nous aussi, nous sommes la famille Bou!
« Heureux de vous rencontrer la famille Bou!  Comment je vais faire pour retourner chez moi? »
« Tu dois demeurer avec nous pour la fête de l’Halloween! »
« Ahh! Vous fêtez l’Halloween? » 
« Oui… nous organisons une belle fête au village et nous récoltons des friandises!
C’est très amusant!  Et tu pourrais être la vedette de la fête! »  Dit Pénélope
« Je veux bien » dit Boo Boo!

« Pour ton retour à la maison, je vais demander à notre amie la sorcière Fina, de bien vouloir te conduire chez toi.  Elle sera ravie de te faire monter sur son balai. »  Dit M. Bou.
« Excellente idée mon Bou! » Dit Philomène.

Les mamans de Motzibouville préparèrent la fête avec des décorations et un magnifique goûter pour tous les habitants.
Pour la première fois, les frimousses firent la connaissance d’un gentil fantôme… Boo Boo était tellement gentil.  Il expliqua aux habitants de Motzibouville que tous les fantômes et petits monstres de son pays étaient doux et gentils. 

Après des câlins et au revoir, Fina, la gentille sorcière, invita Boo Boo à monter sur son balai et dans un grand coup de vent… ils volèrent vers le pays de Boo Boo!

Les amis… le soir de l’Halloween, si un fantôme vient sonner à votre porte, demandez-lui si son nom est Boo Boo!  Si ce n’est pas Boo Boo, ce sera peut-être M. Bou sous un drap!

A Visitor for Halloween

October... the month of beautiful colors, cool weather, and treats! The month when little ones fill up treats for the winter.

Mr. Bou looked out the window at the field cultivated by the LeBoeuf family. The trees were dressed in magnificent colors. And a kite was floating at the very top of one of the trees.
Bou thought, the boubous have lost their kite.
Mr. Bou turned and asked: “Who left their kite outside last night?”
"We don't have a kite, Dad” replied Henry.
"Let's go see... quick, boubous”.

The Bou ran toward the field... when they arrived under the tree, they heard: “Ohhh, I'm so happy to see you...
I need help.”

The boubous and Mr. Bou recoiled in amazement... a talking sheet!!!
“Don't be afraid... I'm a friendly ghost from Halloween land, and I was swept away by a gust of wind and ended up in the tree!”

“Quickly, let's go get the Eagle’s family to come and bring down our new friend.”
Mr. Eagle managed to bring down the new friend.
“Thank you, my friends... my name is Boo Boo!”
“Your name is Boo Boo? We're the Bou family!”
“Nice to meet you, Bou family! How am I going to get back home?”
“You must stay with us for Halloween!”
“Oh, are you celebrating Halloween?”
“Yes... we're having a great party in the village and collecting treats! It's so fun! And you could be the star of the party!” Said Penelope.
“I'd love to,” said Boo Boo!

“For your return home, I'm going to ask our friend, the witch Fina, to take you home. She'll be delighted to have you ride on her broomstick.” Said Mr. Boo
“Excellent idea, my dear Bou” said Philomène.

The moms of Motzibouville prepared the party with decorations and a wonderful snack for all the residents.
For the first time, the little ones met a friendly ghost... Boo Boo was so kind. He explained to the residents of Motzibouville that all the ghosts and little monsters in his country were sweet and kind.

After hugs and goodbyes, Fina invited Boo Boo to climb on her broom, and in a great gust of wind... they flew to Boo Boo's land!

Friends... on Halloween night, if a ghost comes to your door, ask it if its name is Boo Boo! If it's not Boo Boo, it might be Mr. Bou under that sheet!
